The Society of Firearm Design Engineers was founded in 2021 by a group of industry professionals who recognized the value in a professional society for those who contribute to the unique field of firearms design. It is the founders’ hope that SFDE will encourage sharing of knowledge and best practices, and advance the state of the art of the industry.
